FATF gives 4 months respite to Pakistan


The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has given Pakistan a four-month respite and decided to keep Pakistan on the gray list till June.


According to FATF, Pakistan has implemented 24 out of 27 points, the remaining 3 points should be implemented by June.


Addressing a news conference, FATF President Dr. Marcus Player said that Pakistan has made good progress.


The FATF says that Pakistan has assured the implementation of the action plan at the highest level, at this time Pakistan cannot be blacklisted.


The agency says it will confirm the implementation of the action plan by Pakistan in four months. We will see how sustainable the implementation of the action plan by Pakistan is.
