Today I am going to show you how to effectively remove all stress from your life. It doesn't matter if you are stressed every day or just in certain situations - you can make your stress go away once and for all.

How not to stress? It is only up to you whether you allow yourself to be under stress tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. This article will give you the opportunity to be calm and relaxed, even in the most nervous of situations.


First, do an interesting test.


Thanks to it, we will check the level of stress in your life. The linked photo was used in a stress study at an American hospital. Don't open it until you've read this description. The photo shows two identical dolphins. Scientific research has shown that although the dolphins are completely identical, a person who is often stressed will find differences between them. The more differences someone finds, the more stress there is in their life.


How did it go? You probably smiled :) If so, this photo did the job. And that's number one in this article, the first way to deal with stress.


1. Smile


Laughter relieves the body from tension and relaxes the whole body. Nobody is able to laugh honestly and feel stressed at the same time. Even a fake smile releases feel-good hormones, so laugh as often as possible!

In a moment, you'll learn about the rest of the ways to stay stress-free. I just want to say that in the vast majority of cases, stress is a completely useless feeling in our lives. It makes it difficult for us to function in many situations - a job interview, constant life on the go, challenges that we are afraid to face. Two years ago, I myself was quite stressed. Sweaty hands, nervous dialogue in the head, muscle tension ... I have good news - you can get rid of it all. I did it, and now I hardly remember what real stress is.


How much I managed to reduce the level of stress in my life I realized quite recently. It was evening and I was driving my car through the city. Actually, I was not going because I was in a huge traffic jam. He moved so slowly I couldn't believe it. Plus, I was really late. As if that was not enough, someone was standing in the middle of the intersection and probably said that he was fine there and was not going anywhere. Normally I would be incredibly stressed. I'd be honking at everyone and cursing. I wouldn't be able to think straight. But this time I thought to myself that whatever I would do, the cork would not go away. I have no influence on the course of this situation. None of my nervousness, NOTHING will help here, so why would I spoil myself? Will I be nervous or not I will arrive at the same time. So I turned on my favorite music and relaxed in my chair.


The methods I have described below will help you to eliminate stress from your life to a similar extent:


2. Identify stressors and eliminate them


Take 10 minutes to consider what stresses you the most during your day. Write down everything that comes to your mind. It can be people, activities, objects etc. Anything that puts you under stress. Now, looking at each stressor separately, consider whether you can eliminate it. If possible, get him out of your life immediately - it's one of the best ways not to stress. Also, think about how you can prevent certain situations. I decided that I would choose routes with no traffic jams or leave home early enough to always be on time.


3. Take responsibility


If you still have some items on your list and they are things you can't get rid of, change your approach. Above all, take responsibility for your stress. These aren't the things that stress you out, but you are the ones that stress them out! And that makes a huge difference. If you are feeling stressed, it means you have allowed something to upset you. You are entirely responsible for this. Standing in that traffic jam, I knew that my emotional state was entirely up to me, and I decided that I would not be stupid enough to stress over something I had no control over anyway. So remember, if you are stressed, you allow it. However, you can change that by taking responsibility for your emotional state.

4. Meditate


Meditation and relaxation exercises are by far the best way to keep stress levels in your life to a minimum in the long term. Practicing these exercises three times a week will make you resistant to stress after two months. This point helped me most to take the stress out of my life. After a while, I was completely calm at times when everyone else was nervous. It is even scientifically proven that regular meditation or relaxation exercises will significantly lower your body's average levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) over time. Such exercises also have many other benefits, such as improved memory and better concentration.


5. Use NLP techniques


Get rid of negative thoughts. We often get stressed even when we are not in some typically stressful situation. This is because we wind up ourselves - we talk to ourselves in a nervous way, we have only black and unpleasant thoughts. Your thoughts are closely linked to your physiology, and when you think about stressful things your body becomes stressed. Your muscles start to tighten, your forehead wrinkles, cortisol is released. J ak not stressed? By changing your thinking strategy, you can get rid of these negative thoughts and turn them into positive ones. Your body will respond to such thoughts with a relaxed and laid back feeling.


6. Apply a worry killer


This is the method described by Brian Tracy in his book "Maximum Achievement". It is based on the fact that you first describe the situation that worries you as clearly as possible on the piece of paper. Then you are tasked with determining the worst possible outcome, worst-case scenario, of this stressful situation. Often, the mere fact of defining this black scenario reduces the worry. The third step is to accept this worst result. Make up your mind that if that should happen, you would accept it. This acceptance is the most important step! The last thing you need to do is take immediate action to avoid this worst-case scenario. Think about what exactly you can do to minimize your losses and do it. Thanks to this technique, stress disappears as it has taken away by hand.

7. Organize your surroundings


Whether at work or at home - a mess can always stress you out. We don't know what is where; we look for documents when we need them immediately; we lose the most important things. Even if we haven't lost anything, the mere sight of a mess causes chaos in the mind. Therefore, keep order. As soon as you see that your desk or cupboard requires it, put everything in its place. Organize a space where you work or rest. Your mind will then be able to relax easily.


8. Take a nap


Just like meditation, taking regular naps will lower your body's cortisol levels. Often times, stress comes from not getting enough sleep. You can make up for this sleep during the day, even 15 minutes is enough.


9. Do one thing at a time


I remember once I used to do several activities at the same time. I was writing some text on the computer, in the meantime I was packing something to send to the post office, watching TV out of the corner of my eye, and talking on the phone. This habit can create a lot of stress in your life. Therefore, always do one thing at a time. The lack of stress is just one of the advantages of this approach. When you do one thing at a time, you will give it the most attention and you will do it faster and better. When you do several things at the same time, it will not only make you a lot more time, but they will also be of lower quality.

10. Practice physical exercise


An absolute must if you get stressed a lot. Exercise will make you feel much, much better. Movement causes the release of endorphins, the happiness hormones, in the brain. Besides, it makes you healthy. And diseases can also be a great source of stress, so it's worth preventing them.


Even if you are a person who only gets stressed once in a while, I highly recommend trying the above methods. Each of them allows you to feel better and turns any nervousness into total relaxation and relaxation. Being relaxed and composed in an extremely stressful situation is a great achievement and a great feeling. Most importantly, it keeps you running efficiently and helps you use all your resources. And maybe next time the test will be better for you;)
