KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Senator Raza Rabbani has said that the statement of the Attorney General of Pakistan regarding Karachi is not a new thing. The dream of separating Karachi from Sindh will not come true.

Briefing the media after the meeting of the PPP Central Executive Committee chaired by party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zarsari, Raza Rabbani said that the central government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Sindh sometimes talks of separating Governor Raj and sometimes Karachi.

He said that the government talks of revising the 18th amendment every day. The solution to Karachi's problems is the responsibility of the Sindh government. The Sindh government will fulfill its responsibility in the best possible way. Karachi is a part of Sindh and will always be. The Eighteenth Amendment will not compromise on the Oron unit.


Senator Raza Rabbani said that the meeting discussed the appearance of former President Asif Ali Zardari in the Tosha Khana case. Asif Zardari does not want workers to gather during the NAB hearing. Asif Zardari has faced the courts before and will continue to do so.

Talking to media, PPP leader Latif Khosa said that Asif Ali Zardari has decided to go to court in the Tosha Khana case. Will defend the case and seek immunity for the future.

Raza Rabbani said that the situation of party organization in Punjab was discussed in the meeting of PPP Central Executive Committee. The situation in Karachi and the statement of the Attorney General were also discussed.
