Manchester: (August 08, 2020) In the first match of the Test series, England defeated Pakistan by three wickets.

In the match played at Old Trafford, England achieved the target of 277 runs for the loss of seven wickets thanks to the brilliant batting of Butler and Vokes. With this victory, England has a zero lead in the three-match Test series. On the fourth day of the first Test match against England, the Pakistani team was bowled out for 169 runs and Azhar Ali XI gave England a target of 277 runs to win.
